We will be OPEN this week and back to our normal operation hours. Come cut a tree Thursday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday from 9:00 to 4:00. We'll be open during these hours every weekend until Christmas. We still have a beautiful selection of trees of all shapes, sizes and varieties.
Attention customers! This is the first time in 54 years we have had to do something like this, but the Tonry Farm will be CLOSED this whole upcoming weekend- Thursday 11/29, Friday 11/30, Saturday 12/1, and Sunday 12/2.
This has been the wettest fall on record in 132 years. We have had 25 inches of rain, 10 in November alone. The majority of our parking lots and road ways are under water. For the safety of customers, farm workers, and everyone's vehicles this is absolutely necessary. We plan on re-opening Thursday, 12/6 and operating on our usual Thursday-Sunday schedule until Christmas.
It's with a soggy heart that we announce this, but we believe it is the best plan to preserve our fields, roads and chances for a smooth rest of the season and for years to come.
Please SHARE this post, and tell your family and friends and help us spread the word. Thank you for your understanding and we hope to see you later in the season!
-Abby, Alice and Jessie Tonry
Customers- Please be aware, our fields, roads and parking lots are going to be VERY WET this year. Please keep these tips in mind when planning your visit to the farm.
-Minimize your traffic to the farm. If you are meeting family or friends, try to carpool
-If you have a four wheel drive vehicle, bring it!
-Follow all signs/directions when driving and parking
-Wear appropriate footwear (waterproof boots recommended)
-Strongly consider coming another day if it is actively raining or has recently rained
Please be patient with us! We will try our best to manage parking and roadways. As the saying goes, "We cannot direct the wind, but we can adjust the sails."
