Tenderleaf Perennials at the Tonry Farm is our newest venture. We are selling 3" potted perennials from farm grown stock. Bob was a professional landscaper for over 30 years and knows all the hi-performance perennials out there for the longest bloom and least care! We are open from mid-May to October selling at a self-serve road stand. We have large gardens for your viewing pleasure. When we are home or you call for an appointment we love to show you around and help recommend the perfect plants for your site.
Bob has created 10 gardens for those with little gardening experience which include 18 plants and a planting design. Types of gardens include the Cut Flower Garden, Butterfly Garden and Fragrance Garden. We currently have over 75 varieties of plants, lots of Hostas and other shade plants. Of course we have the staples like Rudbeckia (2 varieties), Echinacea (3 varieties), Penstemon (3 varieties) and Phlox (1 variety). Our long term goal is to specialize in exotic Iris, we will have 4 varieties available Spring 2006. Tenderleaf Perennials flower stand is located on Route 88 just west of the Tonry Farm main drive.
